This site was created to offer parents and students information about OT/PT services in the Henderson County school district as well as provide resources to promote growth in every day activities.
The HCS therapy staff work as part of the educational team, using their unique expertise to ensure a free and appropriate education for students with disabilities who have been determined eligible through the IEP process. We collaborate with HCS staff to assist with meeting the needs of students with disabilities throughout their daily routines. OT and PT staff help children to fulfill their role as students by supporting their academic and non-academic achievement and promoting positive learning behaviors.
